Keep the structure of the Mentorship program but we can improve by- this year committees will also join the existing mentor coordinating team. Arrange frequent meetings by the mentor coordinator or the committee within different subjects. Committees can know more members and better through this method. Also mentees can directly reflect their needs to the committee. Finding more sponsorship (international). Set up a marketing team which directly report to the President. We should seek out more future potential sponsorship with professional firms and companies. Print theirs logos on our O-camp booklet and V-show t-shirts. Provide more help to the new members and fresher- keep the housing talk, but also we can introduce a talk in the first few weeks, to provide the information of this newly environment, i.e bus route, Tesco, Primark, Noodle bar, shopping centre etc. Organise more Career talks and visits- should not concentrate on particular area of firms; also provide more opportunities for first year members.
More use of our website- Provide monthly report of the society, including what have been done, upcoming events and the finical status. Feedback- Encourage members to leave feedback in our blog. Any comments will be helpful. After each event, we will have an evaluation to find out what we have done wrong and what we can improve. Annual Dinner- We should have a welcoming dinner at the beginning for new members to meet up, and then have an annual dinner before the end of second term to round up the whole year. The main purpose is to group all the members together again, mainly to attract the non-active members.
