The main reason I chose to be a candidate of the post - Sports Secretary is due to my strong enthusiasm towards sports, I would like to also seize this opportunity to promote sports within the society so that their university life will be enjoyable yet fulfilling.
My proposals are the followings:

Providing the information needed regarding sports to the members of WHKS .
  • More creative, sportive ideas for WHKS members.
  • Plan to enhance communication between the society and the members to increase the general welfare of all members.
  • Introduce scheduled timetables for team-trainings.
  • Actively involved in organizing events and tournaments for all sport teams.
  • Organize competitions for all members regardless if they are in the team.
    • Why me? I was a member of both the school football team and the table-tennis team in Hong Kong. Outside academia, I was the football team captain who led the team to the Open Exhibition. Currently, I am a member of the WHKS football team and have participated in various tournaments. Being part of the team has vastly increased my teamwork and communication skills. Besides sports, I was a school prefect and school librarian. Throughout the years, I have been constantly helping students by giving advices and tutoring. I believe that I possess these skills which are vital to be the Sports Secretary. Finally, being one of the MC in the Variety Show has really improved my confidence in applying for this post. I would really love to continue what I have started, which is to contribute to the WHKS. I believe I have what it takes to be a reliable Sports Secretary. Lastly, I eagerly await to serve all of you and devote myself as a Sports secretary the forth coming year.
