Aims:
After taking part in the Variety Show 2009 production, I was inspired by all the crew members. I would like to serve the society more than just doing a show. Being a lighting crew in the Variety Show, I think IT secretary takes a similar role – to support other committee members and give them all the help they will need, in IT and in general. With my logical mind and ability to analyse, I think I am the right person for this job.
Keeping the website up-to-date
  • To ensure members get the latest update of events
  • To come up with new ideas for the website to increase the usage
  • To upload more photos and add more descriptions of each event
  • Co-operating with other committee members to ensure events are running more smoothly
    • Past Experiences
    • Using programs like Mathematica and Tex will give me sufficient ability to learn programs like Dreamweaver and Flash in the future
    • SSLC representative for Statistics Department, using spreadsheets to count up questionnaire feedbacks
    • Chinese representative of Anti-Bullying Committee in high school (2006-2008) – listening to other people’s opinion and bringing it up to the committee for discussions
    • Lighting Team – Spot light in Variety Show 2009 – working as a team with the other spot light and the stage manager
    • A violin player in orchestra in high school (2004-2008) – always aware of others, “listening to each other” and more teamwork
    I have always been looking for the best way(s) to assist my teammates. If I get to be elected as the IT secretary, I will serve WHKS with everything in me. Kenny Man for IT secretary. Thank you
