Hong Kong students are united together in the WHKS because we are all from the same hometown with a common background. Therefore, it is important for us to organise different types of activities that suit the needs of various members. We will create a platform for members to develop friendships, and unite Hong Kong students from other universities by our diverse joint-university activities.

Hong Kong is a famous city with multi-cultural background. Meanwhile, the University of Warwick is a place with many international students. As we are responsible for introducing and promoting Hong Kong, it is an excellent opportunity for us to exchange our experience with other nations’ students through different cultural events.

After participating in the Warlectric2009, I am deeply impressed by the enthusiasm and passion of the committee members and crews. I wish I can become one of the committee members next year and devote myself to strengthen the bonds among us. I was able to develop my leadership and communication skills while I was in secondary school by joining different activities like the JA Company Programme, Community Youth Club, different sports teams and UNICEF. I am well-prepared and proud to serve the society and all of you by taking up the post of Cultural and Social Secretary and create a memorable year for all members.
